The most expensive lesson I learnt last year was to have the ability to step back and view the bigger picture. I held 5m SAS which I sold at 2.2c for a few pips as it was quite reliably dropping back to 2.0c....until it didn't and over a $m was left on the table.
Go back a few weeks and EPT had pretty poor sentiment in general with many happy enough to break even or sell for a few pips. Yesterday the announcement instantly improved the sentiment and gave trapped holders a clear exit and those with the vision to see where this is going the ability to load up the bus. Sure plenty went to traders also as and I think that the late action yesterday and today's low volume action will be the burnt reminder of those who read the momentum play wrong, the majority of the shares traded however will be in the hands of those who think she's going places. Looking forward to seeing broker data when available.
