Wouldn't call it competing. It is purely electrical, does not count water, gas or other inputs. Also it would appear the install would be more complex, probably requiring an electrician to retrofit it to an existing system.
Also it doesn't seem to contain that customer facing dashboard that drives occupant behaviour.
