paschal - your absolutley right about posting your true thoughts about a stock, and I will continue to read your posts as they are very often insightful. My comment wasn't suggesting that you stop posting, simply for others who may not have a solid grasp on technicals to realise that it is an art not a science and is not ALWAYS applicable, particularly to volatile stocks.
And although WMT has been around a while, it has only existed in it's present form for about a year. Technicals rely on foot printing and back testing to determine whether a particular technical tool works for a given stock. Not all tools are effective for every stock in my view. To predict long term trends technically, you need an equivalent of time to back test your theory IMO.
