    Dargie.

Big call there Dargie. Insots do not follow the same rules as each other. Im sure most will have a break down of defensive stocks, growth and spec stocks. The later being a smaller percentage as the others for most of them.

Heres a small clip out of Sunday paper in NZ about the soon to be floated Pike River Coal Company. The major shareholder is New Zealand Oil & Gas which has a lot of synergies with PPP.

"Pike River Coal Company's moment of truth arrives on Tuesday when its long-delayed attempt to raise $65 million-plus through an initial public offering for what will be the country's only listed coal mine closes.

    The signs look good.

There are indications Pike River has managed to get acceptances for not only the initial $65m, but for the $20m over-subscriptions as well.

What will be of as much interest is the percentage of money that comes from Australian investors for a solely New Zealand-based investment opportunity.

Chairman John Dow said the response from Australian institutional investors had been strong. But New Zealand institutions had also come pn board."

This company will not start producing until mid 08 (give or take a few months). This is more of a spec company than PPP.

Im not trying to put you down but to say instos dont invest into specs is a little off the mark. The other point is if you consider PPP a spec because they are not producing then your asessment of PPP is likely to change sooner rather than later.
