A fair portion of my working life has involved negotiating and writing business contracts inclusive in some instances the contracts being conditional on vendor finance. Prior to vendors agreeing to provide finance they need to 100% convince themselves that the purchaser can complete their obligation. The vendor has the final say, the final signatory on the contract but in this case I believe both parties failed because they made some very speculative assumptions that didn't come to fruition.
Also, why did Anteo have to borrow money from shareholders a few months ago if they had access to retained profits from Diasource?
Well simply because Anteo expenditure was exceeding DiaSource retained earnings.
