No doubt you are correct, but as the article states you have to evaluate the financials such as cash flow and return on assets etc. Seeing as we have neither, the only way I can determine, IMO, thanks for reminding me , is to determine what the general mass of the market (right or wrong) is willing to pay for each share. So are we undervalued? Personally, I think not. But I do not know everything or much of anything for that matter. So using the model in the article, and this is only my opinion, I would say that FAR is in not a value investment. Because after 4 years, I think even WB would want to be in front. I know I wish I was, hence we are priced appropriately in my mind.

Then again, perhaps I am being impatient and four years is not long enough to realise a profit

I personally use 7 years to cater for choosing a risky investment in the wrong cycle. Had a number of investments completely turn around after falling out of favour and then back again. Oil is not currently in favour but I believe that will turn around at least one more time.

Hey, but that works for me. Others would sell out and try to buy back in during the upturn but timing is not my strong point.
