No, the problem with all these agribusiness MIS was the model.
Has never worked in past, likely will never work in the future. Changing management can't fix the underlying fundamental flaws of the model.
Someone will reap the benefit of the plantations in the future, but it sure won't be the growers who paid for their establishment.
