It's funny - I read an entire paragraph in the 4C about licencing - some appear to have missed it.
Also - god knows what you guys were discussing when I went on hols. after Dirk was out here.
Why didn't you all discuss what was said about licenses and it following on from the roll out of NF
I think it was Mark that spoke on it?
Surely not everyone was on the grog and missed it?
That information from a public meeting has been out there now for months
Why is there such a vacuum of information on how the licence situation is going?
It's been reinforced today - in a bit more detail.
Here's the summary -
NF is the key
how it rolls out is a key
how good a license depends on the above
in general the longer a license takes - the better for us
ie. if you licence before you know how a product is going to go - the licencee must factor in risk and won't be pushed on price - however, if your product flies off the shelf - YOU HAVE THE POWER.
This isn't news all - this has been out there now for many many many weeks - publicly.
It's even common and public knowledge who the players are.
