Ashcourt104 – “…………How would you suggest the best way to invest in crypto currency?”

Thanks for your post. As I am not a financial advisor (nor totally up to speed with cryptos), you’ll need to do some homework on cryptocurrencies to work out “where to invest” and “how much”. Google is a great resource for crypto related currencies, wallets & products as it is more current than print options. You need to be current as this new crypto game is really gathering momentum.

Bitcoin is overcoming its scaling issues and will continue to be a force in the future for sure. Ethereum has the ‘small contracts’ aspect as well as the currency (Ether) side.
As I am probably running close to being ‘Off Topic”, any further elaborating would be (as “dawatz” has already suggested), via the Hot Copper “cryptocurrency” forum.

My interest has been trying to work out where SAS and blockchain might fit in the future, more so on the “small contracts” side of the blockchain ledger, rather than the currency or token side.

I am sure SAS has their nanosat tracking and detailed individual performance records well in hand. Who knows, they may already be incorporating this information on a blockchain.
As the telco industry expands with more and more new subscribers coming on-board and with the added complexities of an expanding range of services, ‘billing’ and accounting for every bit of information used, will require ( I think) a unique accounting solution that is 100% correct. Perhaps there is a relatively simple and ‘correct’ solution using blockchain via a variation of one of the existing established cryptos’, whether it be Ethereum, Factom, Ripple or some other?

One thing is for sure, crypto currencies on blockchain will be as disruptive to the global banking and financial sector as SAS will be to the global telecommunications sector. A combination of these two ‘disruptives’, maximising the unique attributes of each, seems a natural fit to me.
