DFU trial update: one last bullet in this rounds of news

FTT has promised a DFU update by end July... that's just a few days away.

What are they promising?

1. DFU trial design?
2. announcement of a collaborator being signed up?
3. submission of IND application? or the promise of one being submitted soon?

From the 1st Q announcement:
Diabetic Foot Ulcer (DFU) Program
The Company has previously indicated that it intends to file a second IND for the treatment
of DFUs. We believe that the lead product (VF-001) has significant clinical and commercial potential in this indication.To date, we have prepared a complete submission package and we are in the process of finalizing the clinical protocol with input from both the company’s
Medical Advisory Board (MAB) and potential collaborators for the study.
Our current objective is to study the effect of VF-001 in combination with skin substitutes
and other advanced products for the treatment of DFUs.
This reflects the Company’s strategy of partnering for success for the DFU application, rather than tackling it alone.

And earlier in the 1st Q announcement:

We have a second IND essentially ready for submission for Diabetic Foot Ulcers (DFUs), which we will submit for the FDA’s consideration, pending completion of the final clinical
protocol. There is also interest in the company’s technology from various leading companies that specialize in advanced wound care and we are currently considering how best to design a trial to combine our synthetic growth factor technology with an appropriate partner product on a collaborative basis.
