If it is "the new potential major player" who wants to suppress the sp today, then I think we will see they showing their hand very soon, given the relentless and aggressive selling today as if it is the last day before they officially announce their intention.
If it is short-sellers activity today, we will know at 11.30am tomorrow by shortman.com.au
The aggressive selling today implies it is not a major holders exiting or reducing their position. Plus, if they want to get out, they did have the last 2 weeks to do so. So, in my opinion, it cannot be a major holder selling down.
