Seen the video, he was charging at speed...I don't see any issue with him being shot. A scissor in the chest can be life-threatening or life-diminishing. From what I saw the police did the right thing.
OF course he should have been in a mental facility, but our politicians are too busy buying dud weapons systems and glorifying themselves in show-pony projects - to ever rein in the thousands of mental cases they have let loose on the communities as a result of their de-funding....Maybe that will change when a mental case takes out one or more of our political chimps.
