'Rowe was killed by a deliberate and unprovoked attack (Oh really?) by a man with a cricket bat, the attacker's intention was to cause maximum damage (You state this as fact but where did you get such an inflammatory description from?) and he did (according to you). He received a 5 year jail sentence.'

How about you actually look at the details? And yes I will say that it is odd that you had to refer to a case that happened in Dec 2012 for you comparison.

A homeless man has been jailed for killing another with a cricket bat in Adelaide's south parklands.

Leslie Aiden McKenzie, 30, pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of Darren Garland, 41, last December.

The Supreme Court heard McKenzie was drunk when he struck the man twice with the bat during an argument.

Justice Trish Kelly jailed McKenzie for six years but said a lower non-parole term of three years was appropriate because of McKenzie's candid admissions to police.

'Did white people go out and protest, smearing clay and crap and parade in the main city street in disgust at the light sentence,'

No they do not. We tend to not get upset when homeless people do crimes upon one of their own. More typical is the case where some simply use them to vent their prejudice on forums like HC. Some even highlight their ignorance of aboriginal cultural practice by referring to it in negative terms like 'smearing clay and crap and parade in main city streets.' By the way aboriginals and even white fellas do not 'parade' when they protest in the streets.

'the thread is about Aboriginal hypocrisy.' Well no, it is about racial profiling. Look it up if you don't understand the term.

'The kid in question provoked the attack and swerved in front of the vehicle,' Oh really? The report on the ABC implied the driver was chasing after the 16 year old down a track in his four wheel drive. In other words, the driver of the four wheel drive was in pursuit.

If you actually knew a thing or two about the history of WA you might then realise why aboriginals feel angry and insulted by this latest example of white fella hypocrisy. One law for us and sod's law for the black fellas, eh?
