I have bought and sold shares for years but now getting older i want less drama portfolio took a huge hit in last crash but is now well in the black.Not worried about capital gains in moving how do you people select which funds as they vary performance from year to year,plus there must be a good time to buy or sell in funds eg before and after divi.5% a year would be nice,and advice on where to start research would be most welcome and thanks in advance for any help given.
