Based on that, to me it appears that it was a much more bigger than anticipated amount of people who actually took the time to vote, (unlike you that you were too busy doing other things), based on your own admission.
53% of shareholders actually voting for a resolution is practically unheard of. Especially when no Boards expect to get no more than between 25% and 35% of shareholders voting.
That on it's own proved that many shareholders have decide to come out of the woods and actually bothered to vote (unlike you), on a very important resolution.
