Hi Grow Rich ,its not my idea tls venturing into energy. ref RE new economy ' Telstra takes on energy utilities with home solar and storage plan'.

Although its an old article it best explains tls's energy ambitions .
Clearly tls is continuing the process with the recent announcement of the construction of the 70 mgw solar plant.
It appears ben burge is interested in solar,wind,hydro even fuel cells but i haven't been following fuel cell development for a couple of years.
lol should i start pushing the idea tls should start building a dam for irrigation and hydro cheap energy?I will its a great idea,how's your water bill?.Thks to bracks and i'm guessing same nsw the cost is ridiculous which is ironic these desalination plants increased the price of water while using massive amounts of energy'brilliant'.
thorium nuclear is clearly an obvious cheap clean base load energy source worth developing for the benefit of household and business and obviously the economy.
Re snapchat,comes under NAS which i look at the bottom line ie $2.7b revenue but not in profit yet.
In short tls will sort out which applications and services it is successful in and which applications and services it should partner .ie think i'm correct but wasn't that a tls add advertising google smart home technologies in partnership with tls?
All good as long as tls continues to invest in its network ie mobile,seacable,poi's something to attract and control these 'new entrants',oh and build a thorium nuclear plant.
