Your guess is probably as good as mine Nobby.
But looking at the facts:
-Zinifex already treating ore for BSM/INL
-Proximity of each others tenements in Tasmania
-Access to Outotec-INL JV technology
-Regular buying by INL directors over the last few months is indicative of an X factor.
So if a t/o is in the wind then Zinifex would be the logical suitor IMHO.
If daily volume continues in the 6 -13 million range of the last 3 days (wed-fri) over the next week or 2; which is not too aggresive to push price too quickly, I'll be looking for an announcement or an ASX query. Note that 15 mill traded 'out of the blue' on Friday 6th then back to low volumes Mon-Tues.
I'd like to know which Broker(s) are doing the buying though to add weight to or dismiss my t/o suspicions. Buying may even be led from offshore.
I can't see the subscribers to "the inside trader" accounting for the volumes of the last 3 days.
Ultimately the market will tell the story-hopefully a profitable one!
A short term price target of 24-27c is not unreasonable with the last 12 month's range being 11.5 to 31c.
LME stocks are also at long term lows.
