I see what you are saying but the stat for the last 10 years is correct whichever way you look at it. The last 3 years have been crappy for blue chip holders/super funds with most reporting negative growth and this I believe is why property is going through the roof. I'm not saying to sell all your shares and buy property, a balance would be a smarter move. At the end of the day people need a place to stay and will pay top dollar to secure that place. I'm hoping that property prices keep going up and I know many posters here stated they wouldn't go up around december but they have been wrong.
