possible wedge formation

It seems to me like BOM SP is traversing a descending wedge pattern. I'm not concerned about the appearance of volume as it is not overly important, but I would probably prefer a sharper falling wedge to support this hypothesis.
Still, it does seem contained and traverses from top to bottom every 10 days or thereabouts.

NB: in regard to this pattern, the best performers in a bull market have upward breakouts 55% to 80% of the way to the apex, so we may be at its lows now(Enc. of Chart Patterns)
