I've always found it curious that "pneumonia" could be diagnosed using resapp. Having had it before I understood Pneumonia to be caused by a variety of bacteria and also viruses, and pneumonia was a general term for the symptoms of a bacterial or virus infection that has progressed to a certain point in the lungs. When I had it, it was pretty damn obvious what I had and my doctor did a nose swab to figure out what was causing it. I went by on antibiotics which were then adjusted once they had the strain of bacteria that was causing it.

No way I would have sat at home using a Telehealth provider and an app with what I had. You feel like if you don't go and see someone you could die. The fact the trials are being conducted at a hospital is telling in itself. These people are so sick they are going to hospital. No way are they going to stay at home and cough into an app instead of going to hospital.
