New cars have plastic fuel tanks and all the rubber parts in the fuel system are compatible with ethanol. The old ones may not like the stuff but it's like replace the parts when they give trouble - duhh!.
What about bio-diesel for farm machinery? It's becoming widely used in Europe and it's very clean, except for sooty particles which look worse than they are and all diesels have those.
OPEC are thumbing their noses at the poor old seppos all tied up in Iraq and oil prices are gonna rise even more than they have. Seppos pay US$2 per gallon which is double what they paid before Iraq. I remember paying $1.30 in January 2002 in California.
So much for cheap fuel. Seppos are paying to increase the price of fuel and who wins? Bush and Cheney's oil mates.
