Lol, infrastructure is welfare now, just a handout to the masses. The projected price being correct did not in anyway change the need or necessity to build it. Just a nonsense argument from the right "we won't built it because it will cost too much even though if we don't we will be living in the stone age unable to compete with Asia or even Africa"." We will build a terrible version that will cost slightly less instead". Brilliant thinking!
The quicker and better it was to be built the cheaper it would have been without years of delays thanks to Abbott. The NBN not built as Labor wanted to build it only shares the same name, those not connected to the node have zero to do with Labor, besides the satellite parts.
