I understood the AMI as them partnering up to apply for future leases together (it was explained that way) where Far have done the hard work to get A2 on their own. I see no problems with CNOOC bidding with others.
Not having seen the AMI wording, we can speculate that CNOOC has PE in the AMI also. They appear to be a Far backer but are they the PE backer also? We'll only find out if we get to on sell the COP %. Would dearly "love" the get to find out.
