massive find

To me, the alleged massive announcement sounds self contradictory.

I would suspect if this man were genuine, he would have tipped of his close friends and relatives, or made a large purchase himself. The to stay safe, he would just keep his mouth shut and wait for the announcement which he knows is coming.

1) What would be the reason for anyone believing that this claim about a massive announcement was more than ramping?

2) What is the motivation for someone blurting out his valuable information on hotcopper like that?

3) Wouldn’t it be logical to identify this informer as a ramper trying to raise the price so he, or someone he knows, can make a good sale?
