Forgive me if this may seem a silly question but when you were referring to Beatons Creek - was that Conglomerate rock hosting paleo-placer gold or unconsolidated recent conglomerate (i.e. river gravels) hosting young(ish) placer gold?

What they have at Purdy's looks like Archean age bedrock that just happens to be a conglomerate rock type with gold nuggets in it (hence the jackhammer to get into the sample material), that's a very different proposition to recent unconsolidated conglomerates/gravels hosting nuggets which you could whack through a simple gravity plant.
