    Most of the scammers I hear about ask for your credit card numbers. In fact I had a fraudulent transaction on MY CC a month or two back and I wasn't even scammed.

    And what's wrong with wanting keep your hard-earned out of the hands of government criminals?

    Also, you don't have to use it to pay your non-corporate drug supplier, you can pay your regular bills as well.
