Haven't checked your calcs but suspect they are right or or close as this John Kaiser interview posted by Comanus Rising says pretty much the same thing.

Earlier I stuffed up a weighted average calculations but I'm pretty certain you have done it as accurately as possible. I suspect because the last two columns (below) don't add up to 100% there is a factor which is not available or unknown. However, IMO it wouldn't make a significant difference to your calculation of 10+g/t.



The geological model is explained in the recent Bob Moriarty interviews(Tx CR)/article where BM, like you, says bring on the drills or whatever method is needed to prove the surface occurrences are more than that.

The Kaiser interview brought up an interesting point that if the "dirt" contains 10+- g/t then regular NQ/HQ/PQ even RC drills could be used to find such a unit if it exists and the nuggets are a bonus they may or may not hit.

To undertake any exploration a company needs to comply with the relevant legislation/rules and then source the appropriate supplier(s) of drill rigs, geophysical equipment etc. All of these activities take time - how much I don't know as it will vary. For a Proposal of Work (POW) I suspect it might be weeks or longer to put together and get it approved.

For Purdy's reward there is also the issue of Novo and a date for the proposed JV which may be another reason for delay.

Given the above I wouldn't expect much drilling to happen before the end of the month at the earliest. However, once drilling does start the initial holes don't have to be deep (?20m??) and so some sort of assay results won't take too long. The "assay" procedure will also need careful consideration, but if the 'dirt' is indicative (as suggested by Orabanda and John Kaiser) then standard procedures may be adequate for a quick first pass.

Finally as exciting as the numbers are on surface, statistics are pretty brutal in showing that only 1 in some 3000 such exploration finds will result in a mine. How far is this particular play along in reducing those odds?....
