Below is a 100 year chart of the stock market: Note post WW1, Post WW2, Post Vietnam, Post 911 the stock markets performed very very well....
and during the Cuban Missile crisis around October 1962 the world was on edge of nuclear war, during this period of escalation the dow ended down 1.2% but finished the year up 10%....
