Not according to the words of Jesus - John 5:26 For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself.
This life the Father had in himself is clearly shown in John 1:4 In him was life; and that life was the light of men
Hi Wotsup,
John 1:4 is referring to the Son of God
John 1:1 In the beginning the Word was, and the Word was with :God,
and the Word was God
2 The same was in the beginning with
:God.
Wotsup the same in verse 2 is the Word was God or God was in the beginning with God
God is plural as in Gen 2: 26And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness
John 1:3 All things became through him; and without him nothing
became that had become.
Wotsup this is the Son of God because all things were created through him
Col 1:16 for in him were :all things created, in the heavens
and upon the earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; :all things have been
created through him, and unto him;
John 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the
light of :men.
Wotsup once again this is the Son of God. If you do not have the Son you do not have life
1John 5:11 And the witness is this, that :God gave us eternal life,
and this :life is in his :Son. 12 Who hath the Son hath the life;
who hath not the Son of :God hath not the life.
Wotsup John 1 is all about Jesus the Son of God, the only begotten God
I could go on but you should get the picture but as you referenced John 1:9 let us look at it and verse 10
John 1:9 The true :light was which coming into the world lighteth every
man. 10 He was in the world, and the world became through him,
and the world knew him not
Wotsup verse 10 says that the world became through him
which is a clear reference to the Son of God, Jesus Christ
It also explains who the true light of verse 9 is
