Once the SM have sold their positions, they have no interest in keeping the price elevated, so it falls on no demand.

The opposite of that, which we're seeing here, is where the price will try and be moved down towards the close, to create the impression of a weak market or a weak stock. This stops mum and dad investors from buying in and pushing the price up too much, allowing larger traders to get their fill first.

Last thing large investors want is for the price to move up without them along for the ride.

all I can say if you're new to trading, it's all about buying high and selling low, something like that anyway, oh and penny stocks are all the go, forget blue chip that's for suckers
