Nickel Price creeping up lately and nearing US11,000 / tonne.
MCR has proven reserves of 100,000 tonnes.
We need AUD 20,000 per tonne to recommence mining or USD15,000 per tonne assuming AUD gets to .75 by the time this occurs. That's 2 Billion in in ground reserve value at that point.
Lithium batteries need Nickel hence some believe we may have a huge nickel deficit by 2020 and hence the slow rise in price last few months.
In the meantime Gold operations will be underway in 6 months whilst drilling continues and reserve upgrades expected with Flinders West forming a larger open pit mine.
