The Boring Company

Galaxy Resources is the boring company. It's the sort of company Grandpa Buffett would recommend.
A true ASX 200 battler. Gone are the wild days of ten baggers and day trades that could net you a cheeky 10% with a few cents movement. Any Shorter, Day Trader worth their salt would be looking elsewhere. A decent short position could land you in a whole lot of trouble at next trading halt. Not because the SP will go through the roof but it will adjust and rise steadily as good safe Grandpa stocks do. The analysts will slowly keep running the ruler over the operation and gradually increase targets each year. The Super funds will slowly come on board as the risk profile is adjusted.
If you're here to make a fast buck you're in the wrong place. In my opinion Galaxy is a producer that has a lot of slow growth ahead. I trust some of the FA the experts leak and a few people on HC who are so friggin smart I can't understand why the Trading Houses don't have on board (or maybe they do).
I,m not good enough to play the charts or rumour game. If I was there are some fantastic opportunities with the penny stocks that this sector is attracting. The Galaxy shareholder profile is maturing. Good to see it dropping down the Hotcopper most discussed. Bar a bit of speculation about what deals the board are staring at right now and banter between old friends who all had a seat on the roller coaster of a company that was nearly not a going concern in 2015, there is not much to analyse here. In my opinion it,s a set and forget stock. It will grow. There is some truth to the lithium hype but it is like an oil tanker that needs to turn around. Very slowly!
We are at the table with the the big boys and girls and unlike most of the others at that table, lithium product is Galaxies core business and it's assets are 100% owned and for now operated. It can sell as much as it can produce and over the years that will be a decent chunk of world production.
