net loss after tax of $22.7 million for 2016-17, driven by falling production and a weaker oil price, and much higher spending.... production down 26% to 750,000 barrels of oil equivalent, due to field decline and the lower POO, revenue down 37% to $43.6 million due to lower production and a lower POO - operating costs were up 8% to $30/bbl. This result comes even though they sold at average $61/bbl, that won't happen again for a while. They have $134.8 million, but only because of the CR. How much will they have to spend on the Western Surat project and the Cooper Basin? Arguably more than they have in the bank and there are more losses coming before a possible turnaround. Another CR in 12 months?
