I ask my broker here in Perth to request the Top 20 shareholder list. This should be public information. Annual Reports tend to put in the Top 20 holders at the time the report is done.
My broker has the AFSL so likely its easier for him to request it. I believe he emails the registry. As for fees I have not had to pay a fee for this service.
If you want say the Top 200, 300,400,500 or the entire registry then I assume its a difference procedure altogether. There would likely be a fee for this.
I know there is a register list that also includes the address of the holder but the one I get does not ...it just has the name of the holding.
I know the company itself can also request a list called "movement" which shows specifically the all the accounts that purchased and sold for the week/fortnight/month/quarterly. I don't think even my broker can get this.
