I guess they were trying to satisfy the insatiable demands for NEWS as per the HC posts. With any spin announcements it is necessary to read between the lines.
As for Korean tests. I suggest the initial tests will be simple and quick laboratory tests as we saw originally such as tests for compression abrasion etc. These tests are done on a regular basis for concrete pours. These take only days. Then they will probably follow up with site trials. I'm sure they will take the USA test results into account.
Odd that I have to be the one to say " GET OFF THEIR BACK".
