I very very rarely take short positions in any companies, especially long term shorts like I have entered into with CBA.
The reason I have done so here is because I think that the share price doesn't take into account the negativity of what CBA is currently facing (which has been discussed at length in my other postings recently). I also plan on keeping my shorts as a hedge against a falling property market which I strongly believe is now imminent.
I have used CFDs (contracts for difference) to take my short positions. Any broker which offers CFDs should be able to let you short CBA.
