Sorry to tell you this, but this article today perhaps now explains the decline - says Packer has sold out.

Just goes to show that there are bigger forces at play that will carve up the unsuspecting.

I remember one of my first forays into the market was going long Optus warrants after it floated. Looked like it had to go up, and initially did, but then had a steady decline - turned out Packer senior was offloading his shares.

The big players probably don't even think about the battlers who lose their thousands while they make their millions.
