It looks like there is a chance that RIO may get out of its ~10%(?) holding in Grasberg Copper Mine in West Papua, due to actions of Indonesian Government and Freeport (though scenarios and details and timing are still unclear).
Can any of the RIO watchers/experts here tell me whether RIO would look to nearby PNG for a replacement mine?
I am sort of "Asking for a Friend" if you know what I mean, as I have an interest in company with significant Copper prospects in PNG.
