You are correct.
Similarly, the Comsec course of sales data, on its own, doesn't necessarily reveal whether the bot was buying or selling.
However on that day, I was checking regularly throughout the day, and for the most part, the bot was buying stocks off the high side off the buy sell spread, which for most of the day was stuck at $0.38. That is why I said the bot (or bots) was a buyer.
(I was taking a particular interest because I hold a tad under 323,000 shares in BSA and I had been hoping for a more exciting FY result. Hence my interest in what Mr Market thought of it.)
It looks like the bot is back at work again today, and somebody is still willing to feed it stock at $0.38. If it was up to me, I would be checking if it has an appetite for stock at a higher price. Starve it a little and see what it does.
