Yeah, Tom Elliot of MN&E Capitol today said on 3AW's talk back radio station the same thing - that many people today have borrowed to their limit with the honeymoon interest rates, where there's no room for interest rate hikes. He said (as we know) the Americans are now hurting and we've been following them with their "i must have it now and pay later" syndrome. Look at the stock market - 1 month ago it was a north bound freight train. Now everyone's holding their stocks like hot potatoes. It's human nature to get caught up in the moment and not have the vision of the opposite.
