I sold my home in Newport in 2002.
Thought the property boom had peaked.
Boy was i wrong. The price up until recently has doubled from what we had sold it for.
Anyway, have been renting eversince.
Good landlord. Low rent, so i don't mind.
Not prepared to buy into an outer suburb just to say i own my home.
If it wasn't for the stellar run in the sharemarket many i think would be in direstraits to gain access back into the same area.
