Like I said a long time ago: Money is the root of everything that is wrong with Australian cricket. I have no sympathy whatsoever and nor does the cricketing world. I wonder what some of the players from the deep past would be thinking. I was going to mention names like Benaud, Chappell, Walker, and co but they had their mits deep into the cash pie in the early days and are probably some of the seeds of this current predicament.
