Possible, but highly unlikely in my opinion given the sheer cost of the infastructure and the amount of capital that will need to be raised.
The other scenario is for SDL to be swallowed up by a much bigger fish OR - the one I like - to farm out a proportion of the project post-feasibility and effectively become free-carried.
All detractors keep bringing up the 'restrictive' project finance costs but there is more than one way to skin a cat ;)
I have consistantly stated that I think this resource will come in somewhere between 1.5- 2b tonnes after outcrop drilling is completed - If this is the case I really cant see them having a problem raising a measly $2.5b...
