$/MW is the more relevant stat to look at, which slipped a little. Then you have increasing electricity costs on the other side. Together they squeeze your margins.
If you look past the percentages for a second, NextDC for the last few years adds in the range of $28-30M new revenue annualy. Overall slightly less New DataCentre Services revenue was added this year over FY16, but overal revenue slightly improved.
So a slight reduction in new orders at a slightly reduced price? Too early to make anything of at this stage, but one to watch the trend.
Overall good result on this front imo.
They actually managed to reduce some of the wage costs which is good.
I noticed no financial breakout for C1 & P1 for obvious reasons.
I did notice quite a slowdown in new revenue for M1, which I wasn't expecting. One to ask at the AGM.
It's good that they are supersizing the new DC's.
The big thing will be what do they pay for AJD and what affect will it have? Overall I think it could see NXT rerated higher, but a less aggressive growth profile.
