How bout this one...
Im a property investor with 14 properties...if you try and get rid of negative gearing and or interest rates were to rise or in the end my expenses were to increase then my solution is easy.
I will just raise the rents.
Yes rents make up a large part of the cpi basket so i guess if i do raise them i am putting pressure on interest rates.
But if rates rise i will just raise my rents...and round it goes
People are not only having problems with buying unaffordable housing...many are now struggling to pay the rent now.
Where will my tennants get the extra money from to pay these higher rents i will demand...pluck the money from thin air?
Wake up and smell the coffee...they cant afford to pay much more now!!
