The company does not recognize all the COGS at once. The COGS are recognized as they are incurred on an acrual basis. The same is for revenues. The revenues and expenses occur over 12 months for the subscription but the split over these months is unknown. What we do know they are weighted to the first month or two but their are still costs after this associated with consistent marketing and hosting of the video for example.
