Mate, i'm calling Jim out as having not had a short position here at all.
I've been watching the data, and short activity here remains very very low, as it always has been.

Even now, in the midst of what surely is (and has the ongoing potential to be) our most volatile period, shorts for the 20 days to Friday 1/9 account for less than 1.2% of total sales....(and that does not include chi-X!)



Now whilst i'll be the first to admit my admiration for Jim, i doubt even he is canny enough to;

1. Predict Announcement dates
2. Predict the SP peak leading into the Ann., and
3. Predict the content of the Ann, and how it might be interpreted by the market.

So to answer your question on how much JT has made here in the last 12 mths, i'm comfortable with $0.00... and that the only short covering he is doing today is being done with his right hand.
