    The new Minister of Mines is among those who sign their return to the Government. He was a member of the Government from 2007 to 2012, successively at the head of the departments in charge of Environment and Agriculture. Tiémoko Sangaré is a professor of higher education, with a doctorate in geodesy obtained in 1987 in the former USSR. This engineer arrives in a strategic department where engineering is the most shared thing.
    Born in Sanankourouni, in the circle of Bougouni in 1957, he attended the School of Manankoro (Bougouni) and then the Fundamental School of Garalo (Bougouni). Enrolled at the Askia Mohamed High School from 1974-1977, he passed his ferry. His higher education then led him to the former USSR from where he returned with a doctorate Ph.D. in technical sciences, specialty geodesy.
    Returning home, Tiémoko Sangaré is a professor at the National School of Engineers (ENI), responsible for Error Theory, spatial geodesy, mapping, general topography, geodesy and compensation. He later became Deputy Director General of the ENI from 1991 to 1992.
    Then his career entered a new phase in the Ministry of State Domains and Land Affairs where he was appointed technical advisor. In 2006, he is head of the Cell in charge of the Cadastre of Bamako and surroundings.
    Politically, he was a member of Parliament during the 1992-97 legislature, first under the colors of Adema and then of the Miria. He has been chairing ADEMA for nearly a year.
    In 2003, he became technical advisor to the Ministry of State Domains and Land Affairs and, in 2006, coordinator of the Unit responsible for the cadastre of Bamako and surroundings1.

    On October 3, 2007, he was appointed Minister of Agriculture in the first government of Modibo Sidibé2. On April 9, 2009, he became Minister of the Environment and Sanitation in the second government of Modibo Sidibé Cissé3. On April 3, 2011, he retained his post in the government of Cissé Mariam Kaïdama Sidibé.
    Tiémoko Sangaré is the current president of the ADEMA-PASJ and the current Minister of Mines.
