All this banter concerning bandwidth, latency and the poor countries in the equatorial belt is really not getting us any where. All this stuff would have been investigated long before the diamonds were even launched. The real issue is whether anyone will buy our bandwidth and we have at least been given some idea by the interest already shown. All the rubbish being posted here won't change anything, we either believe in the project/company or we don't and should invest, or not, as see fit.
