Just an observation nothing more.......
This Company, any Company really needs Key Personal in the positions they are put to task in. Based on previous proven experience in that particular role especially at executive levels. I am not saying anybody is unqualified as I am not privy to peoples CV'c or one on one interaction. I would like to add that they dont seem to want much of that (interaction) with shareholders either based on so many posts where there are no replies too emails. Can these all be wrong or misleading? Where are the replies?
Should they need to look at how other companies interact with their shareholders! I could rattle off a heap of companies that podcast, do extensive interviews with questions from SH via radio and post on HC with extensive detail on the journey ahead. Some have customers also giving feedback on HC on how things are moving and how happy they are with the company or not. These are start ups, yes still specs some of them and busy people none the less. I dont like to cross promote but IAM is one of them to back this up. This is a stock that has dropped and its been handled very well IMO there after by certain Key Personal.
We are currently in a situation that in certain areas of the business at the top level positions have been filled based on the relationships from earlier on in the start of the business. They have stated this unequivocally that they have rewarded success within. Its like we have nothing more to say, its like now, talk to the hand mate! Thats how they make me feel anyway and its only my observation. Is this good governance?
Certain members of the board are scientific in Technology and we have some very good experience come from Intel also. Management is a science, how scientific in this area are they? How scientific are they in the decision making process when employing Key people or letting some go? With what is at risk it surely this cannot be based on relationships. A public company should be open to a global search before closing applications when seeking personal before any consideration for very highly paid crucial roles are considered. There is too much at hand here.
Just a scenario.....do we buy the first car we see when looking for a car, or just buy the one next door because we see it drive to work everyday, no! We head to the Showroom and let the sales reps show off their four cylinders, V sixes and V eights, Hybrids. We research Test Drive then we buy the right one based on where we want to go. Fair enough if we buy the car next door after all considerations were made, I know I'am able to back up my purchase based on my research and testing and I know I made the best decision. I might even get a mechanic to have a look at it first!
We are currently below the SP lower than the RAYA days when we were a mining company. I remember thinking years ago we would never get back to 1.4 cents. Theres no way I would have the opportunity to buy at those levels based on the Intel connection and Microsoft etc. Well I have learnt heaps with this baby and I look back.... crikey!
What we need in my opinion is transparency and communication for shareholders, lower salaries, they should be halved. I would expect the company to have open dialogue with shareholders with unequivocal understanding and responsibility taken for the lack of accountability for where the business currently is for me as a shareholder. Targets not met and changes in personal to make up in the short term those targets and revenue. A new sense of mentality to keep an open relationship with shareholders, currently and historically its been very disheartening. I expect at this level an informative, interactive, explanatory company showing us the forward motion. Thats the formula for success in any Management Book. If anyones interested, maybe have a look at Lyndall Urwick hes one of the pioneers of Management, hes written plenty on the subject if anyone is interested in Management philosophy.

First Class is on Champagne and strawberries
Second Class is getting a free ride aaaaand on whiskey and Beer.......
